At El Torogoz Pizzería & Restaurant, we believe that whether it's pizza, pupusas, or birria tacos, every item deserves the same attention to quality. Our menu brings together Salvadoran and Latin American flavors you won't find anywhere else on Burnside Avenue... from our handmade pupusas and slow-cooked carnitas to our birria pizza and classic margherita, everything is made with real care and real ingredients. Our Salvadoran mariscada with clams, mussels, shrimp, and crab is the kind of dish that's hard to find in Connecticut, and our birria tacos with pulled beef short rib have people coming back before the week is out. As Jorge G. shared, "The food at this place was great. I had the birria tacos and tortilla soup, delicious. The girl at the front was very friendly." We just opened our doors, but every plate and every pie is our chance to show East Hartford what El Torogoz is all about. We're proud to be on Burnside Avenue and excited to serve our community.
